諾貝爾文學獎外獎 女歷史小說家孔德獲獎
負責頒發諾貝爾文學獎的瑞典學院捲入性醜聞，今年的文學獎暫停頒發後，瑞典作家創設一個「獎外獎」，今天中午宣布得主為81歲的非裔女性歷史小說家孔德（Maryse Conde）。

瑞典學院（Swedish Academy）院士佛羅絲登松（Katarina Frostenson）的丈夫阿爾諾（Jean-Claude Arnault）2017年爆出性騷擾與性侵醜聞後，佛羅絲登松和瑞典學院首長戴紐斯（Sara Danius）相繼請辭，另有3名院士表態不再出席學院會議，對學院運作造成重大影響。瑞典學院宣布今年的諾貝爾文學獎延後至明年頒發，創下近70年來首例。
瑞典專欄作家帕斯卡里杜（Alexandra Pascalidou）隨後和100多名瑞典作家、記者等文化圈人士宣布設立「新學院」（The New Academy），要頒發自己的文學獎。
入圍者由瑞典各地圖書館員提名，被提名人必須寫過至少2本書，在最近10年曾發表作品。最終2男2女4名入圍決選的作者分別是日本作家村上春樹、著有「星塵」以及「美國眾神」的科幻作家蓋曼（Neil Gaiman）、加拿大越南裔作家金翠（Kim Thuy），以及孔德。
然而，村上春樹之後表達希望避免媒體關注、專注寫作，致函主辦單位婉拒提名。得獎者最後從3名決選作者中選出。
得獎者今天中午由評審團主席、資深編輯佩樂松（Ann Palsson）揭曉，頒發給出生於加勒比海法國屬地瓜德羅普（Guadeloupe）的孔德。
孔德以法文寫小說，著作被翻譯成多種語言，多半探討種族，性別、文化和殖民之後的議題，關注非洲人和流散至海外的非洲人，特別是加勒比海地區，也帶有強烈的女性主義和政治意涵，最著名作品是1985年的歷史小說「塞古」（Segu）。
孔德將獲得100萬克朗（約11萬美元，新台幣339萬元）獎金，12月9日舉辦頒獎儀式，和諾貝爾文學獎傳統頒發的時程相同，而「新學院」將在頒獎後自動宣告解散。
